So the other night I was searching around Netflix like I always do for something to watch, and that is a journey in it self. I went through all the anime like I always do, but you can only watch High School of the Dead, The Black Butler, and The Host Club so many times. Finally I decided to take a chance on a movie that I always saw but wrote off as not worth watch and boy was I wrong.

Marrying the Mafia II & III are by far two of the funniest movies I've seen on Netflix for as long as I've been a member. The two movies from South Korean were directed by Yong-ki Jeong and starred Shin Hyun-jun as the lead character Jang In-Jae who was born into a family of gangsters.

The Marrying the Mafia II follows Jang In-Jae as he tries to find himself and get out of the gangster life. But he also has another worry which is finding a girlfriend to appease his mother who is the Don. The comedy ensues after Jang In-Jae rescues the prosecutor for criminal cases Kim Jin-Kyung played by Kim Won Hee. Jang In-Jae falls for her since he looks so much like his late girlfriend.

Jang In-Jae hides the fact that he is a gangster from Kim Jin-Kyung and tries to portray himself as a normal guy so that he could go out with Kim Jin Kyung. Well it doesn't work out that way and Kim Jin-Kyung finds out about Jang being a gangster and their relationship comes to a halt, until Jang decides to leave the gangster life behind only to be pushed back into it when a rival gang sets him up.

Marrying the Mafia III follows Jang-In Jae after he has left the gangster life and is now with Kim Jin Kyung. The movie continues to follow the relationship between the two lead characters and how Jang is settling into normal life, along with the rest of his former gangster brothers. The family is running a successful business only to have an old enemy pop up in pursuit of revenge.

I don't want to spoil the movies for you so I didn't tell you much. SO if you have Netflix this is a gem. The movie is of course in Korean so you have to read the subtitles. But the action and the comedy combination makes you forget all about the fact your reading. I give both Marrying the Mafia II & III a 7 out of 10.

So I finally saw Iron Man 3 yesterday...Don't ask me how cause I'm not telling. But what can I say is, I thought it was the best Iron Man out of all 3 out the movies. The action sequences were great to say the less and the fact that Robert Downy Jr. wasn't the only one being the hero made the movie even better. And another lesson don't ignore the genius nerd...It might come back to haunt you later on or try and steal your girlfriend.

Pepper and Tony's relationship already on the rocks due to Tony's night terrors is in even more danger. Pepper who is less then sympathetic at the time since she doesn't know what's really going on with him feels that their relationship needs work. Tony stays up night after night making new Iron Mans and one Iron Woman..Yes he made an Iron Woman...Watch the movie and you will see what I am talking about. So with all the new suits he makes Tony makes one that comes to him on command, but this suit also listens his subconscious. While he and Pepper are asleep the suit attacks he, due to the nightmare  Tony was experiencing.

Iron Man 3 crosses over with  situations in The Avengers movie...Tony has anxiety problems due to his clash with the aliens and now Iron Man is a shade of his self. Suffering from panic attacks in critical situations this is not what you expect from our cocky hero. But all those things have to be put away when your relationship is endanger and you challenge is crazy terrorist on international television. Que the ominous music. After is friend and former bodyguard Happy Hogan is injured in one of  The Mandarin's attacks, Tony calls him out on TV and because of this Tony's house is hit with a missile attack. Talk about over kill.

That is where all the action picks up. After the missile attack Pepper is kidnapped, so that Tony will help the crazy terrorist fix a formula that turns mere humans into something else. We also learn that there is a man behind the scene other than the Mandarin (bet you can't guess who it is). The movie rolls out even faster and the action picks up even more. With an crazy assortment of Iron Man suits and yes War Machine rename Iron Patriot (I wonder why?) why wouldn't the action just get better.

SO in my opinion it's a must see, due to the fact that this might be the last Iron Man movie with Robert Downy Jr. as Tony Stark. Weird Right. How do I know this? I read rumors while I troll around the Internet, but hopefully if this is the end of the Iron Man movies they left us with a good one and also a lead into the next Avengers movie. You will see what I mean when you get past all the credits at the end of the movie.

Iron Man 3 gets 9 out of 10 from me only because I didn't get to see Pepper rock the iron woman suit

Omg that was totally mind blowing and they introduced the new Doctor.  First of all we learned all about Clara The impossible girl....Okay first and foremost I didn't like Clara for some reason I couldn't get use to her, but tonight's episode made me like her. Well just a little, I like her just a little. She leaps into the Doctor's timeline to save him and she gets mad points for that.

So now we know why she shorwed up all those times. I was a little upset and confused at the same time when River left, due to the fact that the show runners made it seem that River was going to be a part of this season, but seemingly they just brought her in to really  really kill her off. But what gets me is the introduction of the next Doctor. They decided to go old school on this and the great actor John Hurt is slated to be the next Doctor Who. November can't come fast enough.

I can definitely say that my mind is totally blown because of this episode man. I really can't wait til November because we get to see possibly the 10th, 11th, and the 12th in the 50th anniversary episode. I wonder how they are going to transition from Matt to John? Or was this only a hey John Hurt is a future Doctor not the 12th Doctor kind of thing.

So I noticed that I hadn't posted anything new about the movies I've seen in the past couple months, so I thought I would play catch up. Well here is a quick run down & review of what I've been watching the past couple months.

First up G.I. Joe Retaliation- I saw this in theaters a few weeks or maybe a month ago and while I was so happy there was another installment of the G.I. Joe movies I was shocked to see what they did in this one. First of  no one from the original cast was in the movie with the exception of Channing Tatum, which totally throw me off since the last movie really didn't kill of all the characters. In this version of G.I. Joe almost all the Joe's were wiped out including Tatum's character. Here is where I went mm, why didn't they bring back the original case and kill them off with Tatum? That would have kept things less confusing and it would have flowed better into the rest of the movie. So after the remaining surviving Joe's make it back to America they find out that it was their own government that had launched the attack on them and branded them terrorist. Well all is not as it may seem since the remaining Joe's lead by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson seek help from the original  Joe himself portrayed by Bruce Willis. Together they uncover that the president of the US had been kidnapped by COBRA and replaced by Destro. For the rest of the movie they try to stop COBRA from blackmailing the rest of the world into submission. Sadly England didn't make it.  It's pack with some great fight scenes between Storm Shadow & Snakes Eyes and Dwayne gets to flex his muscle isn't that was we really watch for. Also RZA is in there....RZA!!! All in all I give this move a 7 out of 10.

The Host- Talk about a let down and a half. I looked forward for months to see this movie. Posting about it and hyping it up for everyone to see it (sorry people) just to be let down. The movie followed the book very well but something was totally lacking through out the whole movie. The casting of each other the characters was totally great. Saoirse Ronan who you might know from Hanna which she was amazing in, didn't shine so brightly in her duel role of  Wander/Melonie Stryder. The dialogue between the alien and human host was much more intense in the book and seemed really dry. Max Irons and Jake Abel who played the two men in love with the same body did a so-so great job. Max Irons in particular really was a bright spot for me in the movie. He played Jared really well especially when it came to the mean parts. Jake Abel was great in playing the alien hater-who later turns out to be a sweet softy towards Wander. I was happy that it came out as a movie, but disappointed at the same time. Rate 5 out of 10.

I finally got around to see Beautiful Creatures and I've seen so many interviews where the cast say it's not like Twilight...OH YES IT IS. The whole movie was more are less in that space with Twilight; Human falls in love with Supernatural being only thing that was different is that the supernatural being is a girl who happens to be a witch. All in all the love story that begins between the characters Ethan Wate and Lena Duchanneswas sweet but doomed from the start. Like we know most sups are not allowed to fall in love with humans and Lena and Ethan are no exception. They fall in love and due to the fact that Lena's family is somewhat crazy the love between them endangers Ethan's life. Lena who is approaching her birthday in the film is afraid that she is going to become evil and to save Ethan from the craziness that's happening around her she takes away his memory of them every meeting. Lena sees Ethan one more time before he is set to leave town, as Ethan starts to drive away he starts to remember Lena and gets out the car and yells her name. This movie wasn't a great as I thought it was going to be and I wasn't really surprised with how it played out. Rate 6 out of 10

So, I waited a really long long time for Charlaine Harris to finish her latest book in her Sookie Stackhouse Series and I usually don't let other people influence what I read or my thoughts on a book, BUT! I have been checking out the reviews on Amazon and so far out 517 reviews 291 of those reviews give her latest book a 1 star rating. Much of the fans who reviewed the book called it disappoint, a total let down, horrible, ..etc. Did Harris really cop out on giving her all to her last book in the series or are people being really judgmental that her work didn't end the way they wanted it too?

I really really do want to read this book, but sadly I have a feeling that I too am going to be let down since a lot of those reviews were filled with spoilers and they told me what happens to Eric's character (I wont mention it). So in my heart I honestly don't know whether or not I am going to read this (More than likely I will just to give myself a piece of mind.) without prejudice since I have already polluted myself with other peoples views and opinions. Hopefully I will read it and come away with a more favorable opinion of the last book in the Sookie Stackhouse Series, but my hopes are not high since the character that I most love doesn't really get what he desires in the end.

I hope that I see it very different from everyone that says Harris did a poor job of ending the series. I believe no writer tries to do a bad job on a book that they work so hard on and that takes up so much of their lives. I hope after I ready it I have something different to tell you. So go out and read it and let me know what you think. Also remember if you don't like it you can always return it.

Please let me know what you think of the book if you've already read it.
