NETFLIX: HEMLOCK GROVE WORTH THE WATCH

So the other day I started seeing commercials for this new series Hemlock Grove on Netflix, so I thought I would give it a chance. Well, surprise, surprise after watching the first episode of the series I am totally hooked. Sure it's a little bit confusing when you start watching it since there are a lot of flashbacks that have to fill you in on why some of the characters are the way they are but it's totally worth it. The series is based in a town where strange things are starting to happen after a teenage gypsy and his mother move into town. Girls start dying in gruesome ways and everyone thinks it's a wild beast, but Roman Godfrey and his new gypsy friend Peter Rumancek know the truth. SO starts the hunt for the creature eating up all the pretty girls in town. But Peter has a secret that he has entrusted to Roman. But can he keep his friends secret while he is mentally breaking down? And with a federal agent on the case while Peter's secret, as well as Roman&#

TOTAL MISS: JOHN OLIVER ON 2 TRAIN

Okay so this one is kind of about me and a total miss opportunity to say hi to someone that I  know from television. So last night after I left class I embarked on my long ride back to the dark streets of Brooklyn. While on the 2 train I saw a man come in wearing a NY Mets hat. I looked at him and at first didn't pay him much attention until my brain told me he looked familiar. So after looking at him again and then racking my brain I finally remembered who he was.  So as the train went on and people got off and on the train I made my way closer so I could make sure and yup I was right. So I waited and finally the person sitting next to him finally go up giving me the opportunity to sit next to him and say hi. Well it really really didn't work out that way. I sat next to him (and I know at this point you're like who was it already) looking over the notes that he was jotting down and attempted to work up the nerve to say hi and tell him that I found him very funny and

COMIC CON 2013: NEVER TOO EARLY

So I am really really excited for this years Con. Why you make ask? Well for the share fact that last year I missed out on meeting a lot of really interested people and getting great pictures of the actors of the shows that I love. Well this year it will not be so! I've been checking the NYCC website off and on for the last couple of weeks to see has already said they would be there and I am totally drooling at the though of meeting two of the already confirmed guest. So as for right now one of my favorite characters from one of my favorite shows will be gracing us with her presences. Yes I am talking about Eve Myles who plays Gwen Cooper on the BBC's TORCHWOOD . I love that show and I love her character because she gives the team feeling and she is a strong character that stands besides Captain Jack in the worst of things. So I am really happy that she will be at the Comic Con this year because I might get to ask her when they are going to start shooting Torchwood again
