DEAD EVER AFTER: LET DOWN OR NOT?

So, I waited a really long long time for Charlaine Harris to finish her latest book in her Sookie Stackhouse Series and I usually don't let other people influence what I read or my thoughts on a book, BUT! I have been checking out the reviews on Amazon and so far out 517 reviews 291 of those reviews give her latest book a 1 star rating. Much of the fans who reviewed the book called it disappoint, a total let down, horrible, ..etc. Did Harris really cop out on giving her all to her last book in the series or are people being really judgmental that her work didn't end the way they wanted it too? I really really do want to read this book, but sadly I have a feeling that I too am going to be let down since a lot of those reviews were filled with spoilers and they told me what happens to Eric's character (I wont mention it). BOOK(S) IN PARADISE

Ever so often we all need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We all choose to escape in someway and that's what I did. So what is your perfect get away spot? Think of it! Is it a cold wintery setting like Colorado or is it a tropical setting like the Caribbean? Well just think of it and imagine what book would you take with you to any of these places you can imagine. Well my favorite place in the world to escape too is Port Royal, Jamaica. For those who don't know about Port Royal here is some general information. Located on the Caribbean island of Jamaica at its southeastern tip, Port Royal was established in 1518. The city was the commercial center for shipping commerce in the Caribbean sea during the latter half 17th century.
