Second Time Around- Motherhood in the Time of Covid

A couple years back I wrote a post about some sites new mothers would find helpful on their journey into motherhood. I felt at the time I needed to write that article because as a new mother myself I was totally lost when I had my 1st child. Yes, my mother was there to give me guidance and advice. My grandmother was also there to help me, but sometimes even with all that help, it was a lot. They had their own way of doing things and coming from the old school the way I wanted to do things and the way they raised me were totally different. But don't knock age and experience. If you have that help around you take it because you will most definitely need it to keep your sanity. Yes, you might butt heads on topics and things to do for your child, but you will also learn a lot and those lessons come in handy when you decide to have another child.           I like many others have one of those new baby types. You know the covid baby. In 2020 ...

SMASHWORDS AFFILIATE PROMO

I've been thinking about what would be a quality way of spending most of my time at home. Recently I've been going through a lot of the books that I've published and I've noticed awesome slight errors. I’ve been attempting to go through them to correct those errors so I have a better product. After exploring Smashword I came across the affiliate program and thought what a great way to get the names of other authors out thereby promoting their books alongside my own. So here are a couple of books that you might want to check out in your free time  After having my baby I've been looking for a week to get back into shape and trust me a lot of his have been home during the Coronavirus and we are most definitely always looking for a way to lose those extra pounds that we gain during the quarantine. so check out 5 weeks Guide to Explosive Muscle Program  5-Week Guide to Explosive Muscle Program   Don't have enough time have a lot of responsibilities you have...

Don't Just Sit There Learn Something New

Photo by  cottonbro  from  Pexels Are you bored? Looking for something to do to pass your time? Then why not try to learn something new that you've never done before. for instance, you can learn a new language, learn how to make more money, or learn how to be a better person. While stuck at home there's no reason for you not I have the time to do any of these things. Through quarantine, I've been exploring a lot of ways to occupy my time coupled that with the maternity leave I'm currently on I've been finding different ways to keep myself busy in my time.  One of those ways is by learning a new language. I always wanted to learn how to speak Korean halfway through I switched the language that I wanted to learn to something I thought was much easier. So, I looked up language learning apps and found Duolingo. With Duolingo, I've been learning how to speak Spanish. The app is fun and you don't have to spend all day doing it. It asks you how much time you want...

I'm Back- Long Time No Blog

Hey readers, Great to see you all again. It has been quite some time since I last worked on this blog. Let me update you about what has happened over the 2 years since I last posted. Well, I got a new job working as a reading teacher at an awesome charter school after being let go from my other job after 3 years. I also got my black belt in Taekwondo. The last time you saw me I was a high yellow belt I believe. But the world is the world. I have been at home like everyone else during this whole COVID pandemic and within that time I've learned how to juggle being an at-home / working mom. On top of all that I was also pregnant with my second child, who was recently born last moment. So the past couple of years has been totally up and down.  I hope to post more blogs since I will be home for a while. I think there are a lot of things to blog about this year. Hopefully, we can all find some time to sit and read some interesting information and develop our thoughts about them. Well tha...

A DAY OUT -FROM BROOKLYN TO MANHATTAN

Hi, everybody, it’s been awhile since I have written a post on my blog and I am trying out a new dictation system on my Windows 10 so hopefully, I will get to blog a little bit more. A lot has happened since I've last blogged. I wanted to share all the stuff that I that has happened to me and the places that I went. I've been on vacation for the past 2 weeks. It's amazing how you are so eager to go on vacation but then when you already have vacation you don't really know what to do with yourself, so I think about myself to explore the city that I live in well only a small part of the city of it I've always seen Brooklyn Bridge Park from afar and decided that one day when it was sunny I was going to go. So, I'm that day I decided to go to the park I really didn't plan anything I just took it upon myself to follow the directions and walk myself to the park um I got lost a little bit because I didn't really know how to read my um Google map and ...

2013 WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR

It's been a while since I've posted anything and I would like to say to everyone Merry belated Christmas and Happy New Year. A lot happened last year I started my blog and gained a new sense of fellowship with others out there that are in the blogging universe. I gained an audience for the things I write and I found out how much I like writing about stuff to entertain and inform people. I hope to write many more articles this year and attend some great trade shows, movies, and also read a couple more books to tell you about. As far as the books, I got myself Kindle Fire HD and I've been hooked on everything that is Rick Riordan. I've read all of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians and I've recently finished Hero's of Olympians: Mark of Athena. These are great series since I am into Greek mythology and I grow attached the the character of Percy Jackson so it's great that he is still around. It's so painful when you get hooked on a series to have to w...

IT'S DECEMBER!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES

Hey all it's my first post for the month of December, you better enjoy it because for all you know it might be one of the last. According to the Mayan calender this is the year that the world goes to sh*t. So hopefully you've been watching The Walking Dead and Revolution and getting a few tips to survive the on coming doom that's supposedly to befall us all. But on a happier note it's December!! Time for us all to do Christmas shopping if you haven't already done so and if you even celebrate Christmas anyway. Here in the States we rock Christmas like gold fronts. Unlike so many of the masses this woman did not go outside on Black Friday to buy a crap load of supposedly marked down items to stash in my house until it's jingle bells time. I am one of those wait till it's almost here persons then make a mad dash for the store and see what is left on the ravaged shelves. Luckily I don't have that many people to shop for seeing that my husband aske...
